November 30 ------ For Sue Ramirez, the timing could not have hit harder. Six years after her run as a GSM Blue ambassador, she now takes on a larger role as the face of all Ginebra brands, officially launched as the 2026 Ginebra San Miguel Calendar Girl.

During her official launch on Wednesday, Ramirez said the news overwhelmed her. “When I received the wonderful news, I cried tears of pure joy. I honestly didn’t expect to come back or get this chance again. It was something I had prayed for,” she said. She explained that the comeback was especially meaningful because she had just recovered from hand and ankle injuries that kept her inactive for months. “When I got the call, I wasn’t physically ready. I had gained weight because I couldn’t move much for almost four months,” Ramirez explained.

Ramirez said she used the slowdown as motivation to rebuild her routine and focus on her health. “It became my wake-up call to live healthier, to eat better, and to move again. It’s not just about looking good on camera. It’s about showing how much you value yourself and your well-being,” the 29-year-old mentioned.

As the brand unveiled this year’s “Siren” theme, Ramirez said the concept mirrors the values she has worked to strengthen through the years. “It embodies strength and confidence, and also authenticity. Being called ‘The Siren’ feels like a badge of honor to me. Yes, this is me. Strong, feminine, and unapologetically me,” she enthused.

During the program, Ramirez walked the audience through the six calendar layouts, highlighting how each one shows a different expression of the modern siren. She explained, “We have so many creative concepts. People will see my fearlessness.”
