Sofia Pablo surprises viral lola who supports her

February 10 ------ Sofia Pablo gave the sweetest gift to the lola, who went viral after showing her all-out support for her. Lola Belen showed her fangirl self during Sofia's stint on "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" after being a fan of hers since "Prima Donnas."

On February 5th, Lola Belen celebrated her 77th birthday, and she got the best gift—a visit from Sofia herself! Sofia said on Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" that she watched Lola Belen's videos as soon as she got out of Bahay ni Kuya. "Dun palang po, sinabi ko na talaga na gusto kong puntahan si lola," Sofia said.

The actress also gave Lola Belen a fruit basket and a birthday cake and cooked her favorite sinigang na isda for her. And instead of having a birthday wish for herself, Lola Belen has one for Sofia. "Ang wish ko lang sa 'yo, matupad 'yung mga ano mo sa buhay, pangarap mo sa buhay, itong aking idol," Lola Belen said. "Makita ko lang 'to, ayus na," she added. "'Di ko akalain na sinorpresa ako ng aking idol."

Sofia turned emotional as she expressed her thanks for Lola Belen. "Akala niyo po, napapasaya ko po kayo; mas napapasaya niyo po ako," she said. "Mas na-mo-motivate po ako na galingan kasi alam ko po na may napapasaya ako na mga tao."

Sofia got evicted from "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" on Saturday alongside Eliza Borromeo. She spent 99 days inside the iconic house and expressed a sense of fulfillment. "I can say that I've fulfilled my purpose: to show the world who I really am," she said. "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" airs weeknights at 9:40 p.m. and weekends at 6:15 p.m.on GMA Network.
