May 25 ------ Gwyn Dorado, a Filipino singer who finished as runner-up in the singing contest “Sing Again 4,” has been making a mark in the Korean music scene, having performed one of the songs in the K-drama “My Royal Nemesis.”

Dorado is revealed as one of the contributors to “My Royal Nemesis’” official soundtrack, having sung the track “마음을 놓치다” or “Losing My Heart.” The song’s music video featured select scenes with the lead stars, Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-jun. The singer also announced the new track on her Instagram account on the same day. “We ask for your continued interest, love, and support,” she wrote in Korean.

Netflix’s “My Royal Nemesis” tells the story of Kang Dan-shim (Lim), a vicious and cunning court lady who lived in the Joseon Dynasty era, and was sentenced to death for her evil ways. Her death triggered a spell, thus reincarnating her as Shin Seo-ri, a rising actress known for starring in historical dramas. However, she has no idea about her past life.

Dorado, who is now based in South Korea, is making a name for herself in the Korean music scene after being named runner-up on “Sing Again 4” in January 2026. She also joined the reality show “Famous Singers Need a Hit Song” two months later. The singer-songwriter first came into the public eye when she competed on season one of “Asia’s Got Talent” in 2015, when she was only 10. She also made a guest appearance at the Philippine leg of David Foster’s “An Intimate Evening with David Foster” concert in March 2023.
