July 31 ------ Sarah Geronimo and SB19 showed off their groovier sides in the collaborative track “Umaaligid,” which marks the first release under the Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli-owned G-Music. After a series of artistic teasers, the official audio and music film were released on Wednesday, July 30.

The music film showed Geronimo, as well as Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin in a crime-thriller-inspired atmosphere revolving around the mysterious Lily (who happens to be the onscreen sister of the actress-singer) and Victor. Among its highlights are Geronimo and SB19 having their mugshots taken and being interviewed by authorities. “Umaaligid” is the second song to be released by the OPM superstars, the first being “Ace Your World” in partnership with a Taiwanese tech giant.

It is the first release of G-Studios, a record label put up by the celebrity couple that aims to support the “Tala” singer in her music career. “We’ve also learned that true growth for an artist means understanding both the craft and the business, owning your creations, your voice, and your future. G-Music is built on values of collaboration, respect, transparency, and growth. Our mission is to support Sarah’s music journey and, in time, open doors for other artists who share the same vision,” Guidicelli said of the label in a Facebook post.

In October 2023, SB19 announced that they put up their own management, 1Z Entertainment, of which Pablo currently serves as the CEO.

Geronimo and SB19 are set to perform at Acer’s “Break a Limit” concert on Aug. 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Joining them are G22, Itchyworms, Kamikazee, Maki, Klarisse de Guzman, Shuvee Etrata, Brent Manalo, Mika Salamanca, Ralph de Leon, Will Ashley, Charlie Fleming, and Esnyr.
