October 27 ------ Sarah Geronimo expressed gratitude on her billboard feature at Times Square in New York City, courtesy of the music streaming platform Spotify.
The singer shared the news by showing the digital display through her Instagram page. Geronimo appeared on the billboard as the Philippine ambassador of the streaming platform’s EQUAL, a program dedicated to “foster equity for women in audio and celebrate their contributions.” “Thank you so much Spotify for this opportunity! So honored to be EQUAL PH’s ambassador for October,” she said. “Keep streaming the Spotify EQUAL PH playlist, and let’s continue to celebrate women, no matter the day!”
The digital display showed a photo of Geronimo from her photo shoot for her comeback song “Dati-Dati.” Aside from the photo, Geronimo’s name as well as Spotify’s “EQUAL” logo was also bannered on the billboard. Fellow celebrities Darla Sauler and Karen Davila were among those who gushed over Geronimo’s billboard feature, via the comments section.
