Ruru Madrid says 'relatability' is the most important aspect in teleseryes

November 12 ------ Following the success of his recent projects, Ruru Madrid has definitely learned the importance of a teleserye’s relatability for the viewers.

In a media interview with his fellow “Black Rider” stars, the Kapuso Primetime Action Hero was asked how big the role of relatability is when it comes to making teleserye projects. “I guess ‘yun po ‘yung pinakamahalagang aspeto pagdating po sa paggawa ng kahit anong kung anong programa,” Ruru answered, saying it is a must that the audience can relate to the story so that they continue to tune in. “As an actor, our goal is to entertain people, and parang in that way, nabibigyan po namin sila ng inspirasyon,” he added.

Ruru said that viewers tend to relate to drama and action genres because they apply the lessons to their daily lives. Ruru also shared that in “Black Rider,” they invited actors from different generations. “This project ‘di ba, we made sure na kumuha po ng iba’t-ibang actors in different generations para at least, lahat po ‘yun nasusubaybayan nila,” he said.
