Roselle Monteverde prefers budding actors

September 18 ------ If there’s one important thing that Roselle Monteverde learned from her film producer mother, Lily Monteverde, it’s taking risks.

In an interview, the COO & Vice President of Regal Entertainment Inc. and Regal Multimedia Inc. explained that, more often than not, taking risks leads to new, interesting discoveries. She applies the thought in creating films, shows. And that is what she and GMA have been doing with “Regal Studio Presents,” which just marked its first year anniversary. Note that, once again, the anthology series will feature many budding actors. According to Roselle, it is, again, all about taking risks. “As long as magagaling sila, why not,” she related, noting how the thought applies not only to actors but directors and writers as well. “The best thing about it is that we also get to help these great talents show their abilities,” she added.

Roselle and GMA also approach “Regal Studio Presents” as if they are doing a full-length film. She also proudly noted that they make an effort not to be “formulaic.” “Although may mga existing guidelines kami, we exert effort to make each episode new to eyes of the people. We also make it interesting enough for them to stick and watch the whole show.”
