July 30 ------ Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres’ daughter Juliana has graduated from university with flying colors! Juliana graduated cum laude with a degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
Richard posted an Instagram Reel from the graduation ceremony, and Juliana could be seen in a traditional terno with her UP Sablay and medal. In his caption, the actor and Leyte Representative turned sentimental about Juliana’s journey. “I vividly remember your first day in school as a young child. I drove you to your school near the house, you were in a white shirt and jeans in rubber shoes,” he said. “Look at you now all grown up and a college graduate in Public Administration at the UP Diliman and a Cum Laude.”
Richard congratulated his daughter and said they were proud of her. “Mom was in tears going up the stage. My eyes were in tears too when I went back to my seat as things sank into my head and realized how time flies so fast,” he said. He also has this message to Juliana: “Go on and make things better and beautiful.”
Juliana is also a successful fencing athlete, with Richard always expressing how proud he is. In March, she won a gold medal at the UAAP. She previously won fencing competitions in Thailand and Indonesia.
