Premiere of Coco Martin's 'Sigabo' logs over 400,000 live viewers online

MANILA, June 23 ------ Coco Martin made his return to television on Monday night with "Sigabo," which peaked with more than 404,000 concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube. "Sigabo" follows "Gabo," a man who spent years in jail after being mistakenly accused of murder. Upon his release from prison, he gets caught up in a robbery on his way home while riding a bus.

Gabo manages to save the passengers, and in the process, meets NCIA agent Samantha Jacinto who also tries to stop the robbers. The pilot lived up to Martin's promise, delivering action, drama, comedy, and romance.

Yeng Constantino, who sang the theme song of the series, was present at Monday night's watch party, where she performed "Sigabo" for the first time. ABS-CBN employees, cast members, partner executives, and ABS-CBN bosses were in attendance as well. "Nakahinga na nang maluwag. Masaya ako na nagustuhan ng ating mga kababayan yung aming pinaghirapan," said Martin after the watch party.
