Pokwang finds joy in spreading love through food

March 17 ------ While it has been years since Pokwang dedicated herself to being a single mom, the actress-comedienne has been vocal about expressing her love through food. The actress-comedienne has been sharing clips of herself enjoying the grind of her gourmet tuyo business and accepting a brand ambassador role with Purple Yam, a bakery brand that recently hosted a convention in Davao.

For the “TiktoClock” host, she said that she has been focused on showing her passion for food through different business ventures, noting that her brand ambassadorship stint is a “personal decision. “Being a mom, a cook, and a proud Filipina, I know the joy that good food brings to families,” she said, adding that her daughter Malia would tag along whenever she would shoot promotional materials.

Aside from ube halaya, Pokwang also shared a glimpse of her tuyo business on Instagram, showing a clip of a factory where workers put dried fish into jars. The actress-comedienne made headlines in December 2025 after confirming that the man involved in a road rage incident was her brother, and she apologized for his behavior. She was among the celebrities who attended the Evening with the Stars gala in Malacañang last February.
