POC formally suspends PNVF following FIVB's ruling

June 25 ------ The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) has officially suspended the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) following the same sanction imposed by the international governing body.

POC president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino bared the development after an Executive Board meeting, where the suspension was voted unanimously by the board members. “The suspension comes automatically from the international federation’s suspension of its national federation,” said Tolentino.
