July 14 ------ PLDT kept its unblemished preseason record intact with a 25-22, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17 rout of Choco Mucho in the 2025 PVL on Tour in Ilagan City, Isabela. Majoy Baron scored back-to-back kill blocks to cap a 4-1 match-clinching run late in the fourth set to stretch their perfect start to 3-0.
The High Speed Hitters became the second team to win their first three matches of the tour along with sister-team Cignal in Pool B. They took down both Farm Fresh and Petro Gazz in straight sets before conceding their first set loss of the tournament to a struggling Choco Mucho side. It was a scoring masterclass from PLDT as five of its key aces hit double figures.
Kianna Dy and Jovy Prado had 15 points each, Baron and Kiesha Bedonia posted 14 apiece, and Mika Reyes pitched in 10. Orchestrating a well-distributed PLDT offense was no other than Kim Fajardo with 29 excellent sets in the win. Only Choco Mucho rookie Ayesha Juegos eclipsed the 10-point mark among the strugglers with 13 markers.
