Pinoy stars to attend Asian Academy Creative Awards in Singapore

November 21 ------ Several Filipino stars are set to attend the Asian Academy Creative Awards, the premier celebration of creative arts in the Asia-Pacific region, taking place in Singapore this December. The event will be held at Singapore’s Capitol Theatre on December 4, featuring a host of celebrities.


TV personality Mond Gutierrez will be among the hosts of the red carpet, alongside journalist Yvette King and Singaporean actress Biwa Mastura, according to a press release. Filipino attendees confirmed for the event include actors Piolo Pascual, Jodi Sta. Maria, Dimples Romana, as well as broadcaster Gretchen Ho.


Also in attendance are Tan Kheng Hua from Singapore; Attaphan "Gun" Phunsawat and Kanyarat "Piploy" Ruangrung from Thailand; Amish Tripathi from India; and Yang Xuwen and Yang Zhigang from mainland China. More stars from across the region will be revealed on the award ceremony's social media channels as the event approaches.


The red carpet will be streamed on the Asian Academy Creative Awards Facebook page and YouTube channel, which will also broadcast the Grand Awards Gala.


Organized by the Asian Academy of Creative Arts, the Asian Academy Creative Awards recognizes creative excellence in television, film, digital, streaming, and emerging technologies across the Asia-Pacific region.
