MANILA, Philippines, October 10 ------ The Philippines’ bet Anita Rose Gomez notches a first runner-up finish at the Miss Asia Pacific International 2025 during the pageant’s coronation night in the early hours at the Cebu Coliseum.

Despite falling short of the crown, Gomez delivered an impressive performance, winning Best in Swimsuit and placing as First Runner-Up for Best in Evening Gown during the preliminary competition. She also earned several special awards, including Miss Cinderella Drip, Miss Hotel 101, Miss RMBZ, and Miss Brainstrong.

Brazil’s Isabela Fernandes was hailed Miss Asia Pacific International 2025. She succeeds in the US Janelis Leyba. Fernandes was crowned by Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 Sharifa Akeel after emerging victorious over 42 other candidates from around the world. Winning under the theme “Transformation Journey: Her Story Ablaze,” Isabela delivered a powerful response that reflected her understanding of growth and lasting legacy when asked the final question: “What will continue to keep your story burning bright?” “Surely, I am here tonight with a purpose for the Miss Asia-Pacific International. The fire of transformation starts when we know who we are and where we want to arrive. And I have something to say to you all. The journey of transformation never ends and will live in transformation every day,” she answered.

Thailand’s Bowonrat Maneerat takes the title of second runner-up, while Belgium’s Jana Janssens finishes as third runner-up, and Netherlands’ Delilah Elmira Wildeboer completes the court as fourth runner-up. One of the highlights of the event was the recognition given to all candidates by the Miss Asia Pacific International Executive Board for their courage and active participation in the volunteer efforts for earthquake victims in Cebu.

Following the initial impact of the disaster on September 30, the organization realigned its activities toward relief operations and awareness campaigns, providing opportunities for the candidates to use their platforms to expand their causes and reach wider communities. Established in 1968 to promote peace, goodwill, trade, and tourism across the Pacific, Miss Asia Pacific International remains one of the oldest and most prestigious beauty pageants based in Manila, Philippines.
