Oil price hikes greet public

Metro Manila, December 20 ------ Motorists should brace for higher pump prices today.

Cleanfuel, Seaoil, Petro Gazz, Caltex Fuel, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, and Flying V said in separate advisories that the per-liter prices of their diesel and gasoline will be reduced by P2.90 and P0.70, respectively. Seaoil, Caltex Fuel, and Flying V also said per-liter prices of Kerosene would decrease by P1.65.

According to the oil monitoring of the Department of Energy as of Dec. 13, the year-to-date per-liter increases stood at P13.25 for gasoline, P24.60 for diesel, and P19.15 for kerosene.
