Ogie Diaz reveals actor’s mom goes ballistic after TV series shelved

July 5 ------ In his recent vlog, comedian and talent manager Ogie Diaz tackled the controversial network transfer of Bea Alonzo and her alleged burning bridge with ABS-CBN. There, Ogie revealed some details about Bea’s network jump. According to him, Bea’s supposed project “Kahit Minsan Lang” will continue.

Ogie said the pilot week of the upcoming series which has been shot with Bea in General Santos with leading men Richard Gutierrez and Rafael Rosell will be reshot with a new actress. Later, Ogie tackled the alleged reactions of director-producer Erick C. Salud and Dreamscape Digital Head of Content Ethel M. Espiritu on Bea’s transfer.

In the said posts, Ethel pointed out that there’s nothing wrong with people finding better opportunities, but they should also make sure that all is well with people they would leave. In fact, she revealed that one of the actor’s moms apparently went ballistic when she learned that the series has been shelved. Erick said: “So ayun nga. Lumipat nga ang isang aktres. Bakit kaya? Eh may project siya na nasimulan at na promote na prior pandemic. (Tapos) say niya, di pa siya ready mag shooting. Ayun pala lilipat. AAAARTE!!!! Naghihirap ba siya? Eh may big farm nga. Kaloka siya!!!

Ogie’s co-host, Mama Loi, asked him about the mother. “I think ito ay si Tita Annabelle Rama para kay Richard Gutierrez,” he answered. “Naloka rin daw si Tita Annabelle, yan ang nakarating sa akin.” During Bea’s press conference on GMA, she cleared that the “discontinuation” of her TV series was a “mutual decision.”

In 2019, Bea and Richard worked together via the film “Unbreakable” along with Angelica Panganiban.
