New Naia Infra Corp. announces new airline terminal assignments

MANILA, Philippines, February 26 ------ The New Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Infra Corp, (NNIC) will soon implement new terminal assignment changes for several airlines to optimize terminal capacity and improve passenger movement.


In an advisory, the NNIC said that starting March 29, 2026, the following airlines will be moved from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3: Air China, China Eastern, Vietnam Airlines, Royal Brunei, and Shenzhen Airlines. Meanwhile, Philippine AirAsia (for international flights only) and AirAsia Berhad will relocate from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1, also beginning March 29, 2026. Japan Airlines, meantime, will be moved from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 effective April 1, 2026.


Passengers are assengers to verify their terminal assignments prior to their scheduled flights. In an earlier statement, the NNIC announced that the following airlines have joined the airport’s biometric check-in to boarding scheme:

- Terminal 1: Philippine Airlines (PAL), Asiana Airlines

- Terminal 2: Cebu Pacific, PAL

- Terminal 3: Qatar Airways, Cebu Pacific, United, AirAsia, Air Canada


Passengers are reminded to scan their passports and complete facial recognition at designated self-check-in kiosks.
