Nat'l ID Step 2 online registration opens in 212 cities, municipalities — PSA

June 14 ------ The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Sunday, June 13, announced that the online appointment booking for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Step 2 registration process is now available in 212 cities and municipalities across the country. The online appointment booking for Step 2 Registration was initially available in 14 cities and municipalities on May 24. The PSA said there are now a total of 226 cities and municipalities with available online appointment booking for Step 2 Registration as of June 12.

“Residents in the additional cities and municipalities can now set their appointment schedules for Step 2 Registration online through register.philsys.gov.ph as early as June 18, 2021,” it said in a public advisory. “For those who have undergone Step 1 Registration through house-to-house demographic data collection, there is no need for you to register online and book for your appointment. The PSA or your respective local government units will provide you with updates for the schedule of your Step 2 Registration,” it added.

For updates or other information about PhilSys or Philippine ID, the public is encouraged to visit the official PhilSys website psa.gov.ph/philsys or Facebook page facebook.com/PSAPhilSysOfficial/. The public may also reach the PhilSys Registry Office via hotline number 1388 or e-mail at info@philsys.gov.ph. The online registration for the Step 1 process started on April 30. The PSA reiterated that just like the entire registration process, “getting a PhilID is also free or without a delivery fee.”
