Mixed fuel price adjustments expected this week

Metro Manila, March 13 ------ A mixed round of fuel price adjustments could take effect next week, an oil company said.

In an advisory, UniOil forecast that gasoline prices may increase by P0.80 to P1.00 per liter, while diesel prices may see no change or even be rolled back by P0.10 per liter. It did not say if kerosene would see any adjustments. On March 7, price hikes were seen across the board: per-liter prices for gasoline went up by P0.40, diesel by P1.50, and kerosene by P1.25.

So far this year, the Department of Energy said that net price adjustments stood at an increase of P5.70 per liter for gasoline, a decrease of P0.90 per liter for diesel, and a decrease of P1.05 per liter for kerosene.
