Michael Sager gets emotional about sacrifices for showbiz career

March 13 ------ Michael Sager could not help but become emotional in "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" when he opened up on the sacrifices he made to make to pursue his showbiz career. According to Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras," Kuya asked the housemates to share their beginnings in the entertainment industry.

The "My Ilonggo Girl" star said he got into showbiz because his dad auditioned for PBB Season 2, but he could not continue his dream because his father, Michael's lolo, got sick. "Lumipat ako dito from scratch and wala akong friends—something I really wish I had. I really wanted this dream but ang laking sacrifice was my family and my life in Canada," said Michael, he took up his dad's dream as his own. "I would go home to myself, eating and I couldn't tell share stories with anybody and I couldn't tell anything about my day," he added.

Michael said he believed everything would be worth it in the end. And now, Michael is one of the rising leading men of the GMA Network, both in the afternoon block and on primetime. Aside from "My Ilonggo Girl," he previously starred in "Shining Inheritance." He also appeared in "Luv Is: Caught In His Arms" and "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap."

The "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" is also another opportunity that he could not afford to pass on. "I really said yes to it because it was my biggest prayer when I started. Full circle moment for me," he said. "I don't know how long I'll be here, I don't know how long this will last, I wanna be thankful,"
