July 16 ------ Metro Manila and several cities and provinces across the country will be under general community quarantine (GCQ) status from July 16 to July 31, presidential spokesman Harry Roque said on Thursday. According to a video message from the Palace, here are the areas under GCQ from July 16–July 31:

National Capital Region

Baguio City

Apayao

Santiago City

Isabela

Nueva Vizcaya

Quirino

Bulacan

Cavite

Rizal

Quezon

Batangas

Puerto Princesa City

Guimaras

Negros Occidental

Zamboanga Sibugay

Zamboanga City

Areas not mentioned are placed under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ), Roque said. Last month, the Palace announced the set of guidelines for all community quarantine classifications.
