Matty Juniosa bags Best Performance nomination at UK Reality TV Awards

June 30 ------ Matty Juniosa has been nominated for Best Performance on a Reality TV Show at the National Reality TV Awards (NRTA) 2026 in the United Kingdom. Juniosa’s nomination was recently unveiled on NRTA’s official Instagram account. He was nominated for his golden buzzer performance on “Britain’s Got Talent.”


The Filipino singer earned a double Golden Buzzer on the British talent show’s season 19. He received his first from Simon Cowell during his audition for his performance of Prince’s “Purple Rain.” He received another Golden Buzzer from Amanda Holden, following his rendition of “Dream On” by Aerosmith. He eventually finished in fourth place in the singing competition.


Juniosa celebrated his nomination on Instagram, crediting fans for the recognition as he asked for support in the voting process. “I just want to say, you guys made this happen! We have been nominated for Best Performance on a Reality TV Show this year at the National Reality TV Awards here in the UK,” he said. “So I would generally appreciate your votes.”


Juniosa is nominated alongside fellow Britain’s Got Talent acts Paul Nunnari, Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir, Sadeck Berrabah & LMA, Celestial, and Anastasiia & Salsa, as well as Strictly Come Dancing performers Karen Carney & Carlos Gu, Lewis Cope, Gorka Márquez, and Keisha Buchanan’s Masked Singer UK persona, Moth.
