Marcos arrives in Malaysia for Asean Summit

May 26 ------ Marcos will attend the Plenary and Retreat sessions to kick off his summit activities on Monday. He is also slated to participate in three interface meetings with ASEAN parliamentarians, youth, and business leaders, and a signing ceremony for the Kuala Lumpur Declaration on ASEAN 2045.

He then will lead the 16th Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area Summit before attending the ASEAN-GCC and ASEAN-GCC-China Summits on Tuesday.

This year's theme "Inclusivity and Sustainability" highlights the region's shared commitment to progress and resilience. This is the President's fourth ASEAN Summit participation since taking office in 2022.
