Maggie Wilson’s love advice: ‘Respect each other… love is not enough’

June 26 ------ TV host-beauty queen Maggie Wilson was recently asked if she wants to get married again.

On her Instagram story, the 33-year-old noted how she hasn’t really thought it through. “I’m not quite there yet, but if there’s one advice that I could give to a couple who’s gonna get married is have really good communication, guys,” she said. According to her, it is “so important” to be “open” and “honest” with each other. “Talk about everything – from how you’re feeling, you know? Even talking about the future. Like, if you want to have kids, how many kids do you want to have; your finances?” she related.

Maggie reiterated that “good communication” is a major key. “Another thing is don’t ever play on each other’s insecurities. You know, talk things through so you can figure out how to, you know, navigate your relationship together,” she added. “Another thing, I wanted to add, is… is respecting each other’s individuality – that is so important,” she maintained. “It’s okay to get into heated arguments but there’s no need for name-calling, you know when you can find common ground and agree to disagree because sometimes we have our own different set of opinions and that’s okay.”

Overall, she believes that couples should respect each other because love is not enough. “Being in a relationship is work,” she noted. “And you know, be each other’s biggest cheerleader. And support each other…”
