April 19 ------ Luka Dončić claimed the 2026 NBA scoring title with a blistering 33.5 points per game, edging out reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (31.1) and Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards (28.8).
It marked his second scoring crown in the last three seasons for Dončić, who also became the first Laker to lead the league in scoring since Kobe Bryant in the 2006-07 season. In his first full season in Los Angeles, Dončić also logged 7.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. Meanwhile, three-time MVP and Nuggets star Nikola Jokić made history by leading the NBA in both rebounds (12.9) and assists (10.7) per game in a single season. Jokic also averaged 27.7 points, once again putting him in the mix for Most Valuable Player.
As a cherry on top, Jokic also recorded 34 triple-doubles, most in the league and more than the second and third-ranked players combined in Jalen Johnson (13) and Josh Giddey (13). Meanwhile, Victor Wembanyama finished with 3.1 blocks per game, marking his third consecutive season of leading the category. Rockets wingman Amen Thompson and reigning Most Improved Player Dyson Daniels of the Hawks are joint leaders in steals, each logging 2.0 per game.
Hornets' Kon Knueppel scored the most three-pointers with 273, becoming the first rookie ever to lead the category. Lakers sharpshooter Luke Kennard led the league in three-point shooting percentage at 47.8 percent, while Minnesota's Rudy Gobert posted the highest field-goal percentage at 68.2 percent.
Finally, 18 players played all 82 games, with Desmond Bane, Mikal Bridges, Bruce Brown, Toumani Camara, Bub Carrington, Julian Champagnie, Donte DiVincenzo, Kris Dunn, Jeremiah Fears, Javonte Green, Jay Huff, Oso Ighodaro, Sion James, Keldon Johnson, Jake LaRavia, Brandin Podziemski, Jamal Shead, and Reed Sheppard sharing the feat.
