MANILA, Philippines, September 3 ------ Prices of cooking gas are increasing for the second straight month this September. Oil giant Petron Corp. announced a P6.65 per kilogram increase in LPG prices. AutoLPG prices will likewise go up by P3.70 per liter. “These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of September,” Petron said.
Other retailers have yet to announce their adjustments, but they are also expected to implement price hikes this month. LPG prices went up last month, ending two consecutive months of reductions.
Petron and Solane both implemented a P4.55 per kilogram increase in LPG prices in August.
