LPG prices down this month

MANILA, Philippines, June 2 ----- Retailers have implemented a P6 price reduction in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) following an increase last month.

Petron has reduced its price by P6.20 per kilogram yesterday, and its AutoLPG decreased by P3.47 per liter. “These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of June,” Petron said.

Solane-branded LPG dropped by P6.18 per kilogram, while Phoenix LPG Phils. Inc. slashed its prices by P6.10 per kilogram and its AutoLPG by P3.47 per liter. Last month, LPG prices went up by less than P1 following two successive months of reductions.

Prices of 11-kilogram household LPG ranged from P825 to P1,090 based on the Department of Energy’s price monitoring in Metro Manila from May 2 to 8.
