February 19 ------ Lovi Poe is part of the cast of the Hollywood independent feature film “Bad Man!”
The Filipina actress shared the exciting news on Instagram. “So happy to finally announce being part of BAD MAN. Can’t wait to share more about this amazing film with an even more amazing cast!” Lovi said. She also revealed that this is the reason why she traveled to Alabama, which was where they shot the film. Lovi also posted behind-the-scenes snaps with the cast outside their trailers.
According to Deadline, “Bad Man” is an action-comedy inspired by a true story. It follows a state cop (played by Seann William Scott of “American Pie”) who is addicted to meth. He shows up in a small town and does not get along with a prim and proper deputy police officer (played by Johnny Simmons of “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”), and they attempt to solve a murder. Lovi’s role is yet to be revealed. The film also stars Rob Riggle (“21 Jump Street”), Chance Perdomo (“After We Fell”), and Andre Hyland (“Barry”). It marks screenwriter Michael Diliberti’s directing debut and he also co-wrote the screenplay with JJ Nelson. This is Lovi’s second Hollywood project, following “The Chelsea Cowboy,” which is yet to be released. She played British blues singer Dana Gillespie.
