MANILA, Philippines, December 26 ------ Louie Ramirez shone in Cignal HD's continued pursuit of greatness in Spikers’ Turf. Ramirez demonstrated his A-game against challenger Criss Cross in the gold medal match of the 2024 Spikers’ Turf Invitational Conference, dropping 24 points on 21 spikes and three blocks to steer the HD Spikers to their eighth crown, held at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
It was all Cignal in the game, collecting a straight-set sweep against the King Crunchers, 25-19, 25-19, 26-24. With that, Ramirez won not just a title, but also the Final MVP award. "Siyempre, malaking ambag ‘to sa sarili ko, kasi Finals MVP so dala-dala ko ‘to every game na meron ako, kaya ayon inspired ako lagi dahil sa award na ’to," said Ramirez.
The Dasol, Pangasinan native expressed satisfaction as he brought his best outing in that particular ballgame. "Sobrang satisfied ako. Nakapaglaro naman ako nang maayos, saka nailabas 'yung all out na laro ko," he said. This triumph extends Ramirez's line of achievements, being a three-time NCAA champion and two-time Finals MVP.
