MANILA, Philippines, March 31 ------ Thai star Lalisa Manoban, better known as Lisa of Korean girl group Blackpink, is set to become the first K-pop artist to have a Las Vegas residency.

Caesars Palace, the site of numerous concerts and sporting events, confirmed that Lisa will take over its stage later this November. Aptly called the "Viva La Lisa" residency, the artist will perform at the hotel's The Colosseum on November 13 and 14 as well as November 27 and 28.

The residency comes on the heels of Lisa releasing her debut album "Alter Ego" and making her acting debut on "The White Lotus" last year while Blackpink just released its latest extended play "Deadline" last month. Blackpink also had a world tour named after the latter, returning to the Philippine Arena last November, and wrapped last January in Hong Kong. A documentary about Lisa is also in the works from "The Last of the Sea Women" producer Sue Kim, taking a look at a year in the artist's while she and other members of Blackpink — Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé — were doing solo projects.
