Linda Walker actress Zhang Yingfei arrives in PH for education campaign

June 9 ------ Chinese actress Zhang Yingfei, who rose to fame for her portrayal of Linda Walker in a hit vertical micro-drama, has arrived in the Philippines for an education-focused campaign.

The actress arrived in the Philippine capital late Sunday, as shown in a video posted by the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII). Zhang is in the country for a civic project of the FFCCCII that seeks to promote education and Philippine tourism, as well as strengthen ties between Filipinos and Chinese.

She is scheduled to visit the historic walled city of Intramuros in Manila and a high school in Quezon City before holding a meet-and-greet event at a mall in the city, among other activities.

Zhang rose to fame for her portrayal of Linda Walker, known in the original Chinese version as Lin Si Wang, in the drama "The Heiress Who Won With Brains."

The character went viral among Filipinos on social media for her intelligence, becoming a symbol of academic excellence and an inspiration to students.
