August 4 ------ Kyline Alcantara visited her father’s hometown in Bicol where the actress gave away relief goods to those affected by Mayon Volcano’s unrest.

The actress mingled with the locals and was among those who handed out the supplies, as seen in a series of photos on her Instagram page. “Today, I got to visit my father’s hometown and checked with people who are greatly affected with Mayon,” she said in the caption. “Glad that I was able to see them, talk to them and hug them. I was able to see their little smiles and glimmer of hope in their eyes despite what happened.”

Alcantara then looked forward to holding more charities in the future, and urged the public to extend help as well to those who were affected by the recent typhoons that hit the country. “I encourage everyone to help our kababayan who are in dire need, especially those who are greatly affected with recent typhoons and Mayon,” she stated. “It doesn’t have to be big or small things goes a long way, right?”
