Kuh Ledesma, Music & Magic reunite for 2-night show in Cavite

January 14 ------ Kuh Ledesma and the 1980s show band Music & Magic will reunite for an intimate two-night concert in Cavite, with the veteran artist saying that the upcoming show is a celebration of their friendship. Ledesma and Music & Magic’s concert was announced in a press release, where it will be held at the A.R.T.E. Theater, Hacienda Isabella in Indang, Cavite, on January 31 and February 1.

Joining the “Till I Met You” singer in the show are Fe De Los Reyes, Jet Montelibano, Vicky Sevilla-Pangilinan, Butch Elizalde, and Nonoy Mendoza, along with “surprise guest artists.” “This reunion isn’t about nostalgia alone. It’s about honoring the journey — the friendships, the music, and the quiet miracles that happen when people come together with purpose,” Ledesma said.

Looking back at her career, the singer said music has been her way of “expressing gratitude” to her loved ones and fans. “Music has always been a way for me to express gratitude. When it’s shared with people you love, in a place that invites stillness and joy — that’s where the real magic happens,” she said.

According to the release, guests are encouraged to arrive at six in the evening, although the show will start two hours later. Ledesma started singing as part of the Lastiko band while studying at the Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod. Years later, she, Montelibano, and Toto Gentica formed the Music & Magic band. Some of her notable songs include “Sino Ang Baliw,” “Ako Ay Pilipino,” “Till I Met You,” and “I Think I’m in Love,” to name a few.

Formed in 1979, Music & Magic was originally composed of Ledesma, Montelibano, Gentica, Bobby Taylo, Butch Elizaldez, Nonoy Mendoza, Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, Fe delos Reyes, and Eva Caparas. The group was active in 1979 and the 1980s, and would perform at various venues as a show band.
