Kiray Celis makes money faster in online selling than acting: P3M sales in one day

September 5 ------ Kiray Celis revealed that she earns “more quickly” from online selling than from acting after her business recorded ₱3 million sales in just one day.

Celis recently shared in an episode of “DTI: Asenso Pilipino” on the Department of Trade and Industry’s official YouTube channel that that she can earn ₱1 million from online selling per day. In fact, there was one day when she sold almost ₱3 million worth of products.

“Actually, siguro ang right word po, mas mabilis,” she said when asked if she makes more money from online selling than acting. “Mas mabilis lang po yung online, kasi po si online po, ilang beses lang magla-live, e. Unlike sa taping, whole day ako doon, puyat pa. So, mas mabilis po talaga,” added the actress.

The former child star, whose products include slimming juice, coffee, and capsule supplements, said her venture has been thriving despite being only a few months old. Celis shared that she once earned ₱50,000 in commission from just three hours of live selling, which made her decide to establish her own brand so she could keep all of the earnings, with encouragement from her boyfriend, Stephan Estopia.

Celis officially launched her business in January, and within the first six months, her sales had already reached ₱8.3 million. The “Goin Bulilit” alum recalled that she started her entrepreneurial journey during the pandemic, promoting food and lifestyle products in exchange for free deliveries. “Parang malaking bagay na iyon sa family ko, na parang makakakain kami nang libre. Lahat tayo noon halos walang trabaho. Lahat nasa bahay, so parang super thankful ako noon,” she said.

Celis also offered advice to aspiring entrepreneurs, stressing the importance of product quality as she admitted to making mistakes early on by promoting products she didn’t personally use. “Ang pagkakamali ko noon is nagsasabi ako kunyari, ‘Ito, ginagamit ko,’ pero hindi ko naman talaga ginagamit po noon. Kaya be careful sa mga words mo, and kailangan, maging totoo ka kasi yun naman talaga ang gusto ng mga bumibili,” she said.
