Kim Atienza offers to pay netizen’s psychiatrist consultation bill

March 18 ------ Days after he reached out to a distressed individual, Kim Atienza continues to prove that kindness goes a long way after he offered to pay a netizen’s psychiatrist consultation bill.

The netizen took to Threads on Monday, March 16, to extend their gratitude to Atienza, who offered to pay for the individual’s consultation bill with a psychiatrist. The post also included screenshots of the netizen’s conversation with Atienza, who reached out to the individual, telling them that he knows some people that the netizen can talk to. The conversation came after the TV host earlier replied to the netizen’s public post on Threads, asking for help to be connected to a psychiatrist.

“Please schedule a session; I will pay for the bill. Tight hug ha,” read Atienza’s message to the netizen. “I hear you. It’s hard. Tell me if you have an appointment, na ha? Mga 8 sessions ‘yan. Ako na bahala (Leave it up to me).”

This isn’t the first time that Atienza extended help to a netizen struggling with mental health. He earlier invited a stranger to come to his show after he saw the latter’s post about being “tired of everything.” Kim, whose youngest daughter Emman Atienza died last October amid battling anxiety and depression, started “The Emman Effect” on social media, referring to acts of kindness extended to other people.
