August 28 ------ Katrina Llegado is back in the Philippines after winning Miss Supranational 2026.
On Instagram Thursday, The Miss Philippines shared photos from Katrina’s arrival at Ninoy Aquino International Airport and said, “THE CROWN IS HOME AGAIN.”
“After 13 years, the Miss Supranational crown is back in the Philippines, and this time, it belongs to Katrina Llegado, Miss Supranational 2026," the organization said. “The Philippines has its Supra Queen again,” it added.
Katrina won for the Philippines the Miss Supranational 2026 crown at the ceremony in Poland earlier this month. She is the second Filipina to win the Miss Supranational crown after Mutya Datul, who made history by becoming the country's first titleholder in 2013.
Ahead of the coronation night, Katrina donned a gumamela-inspired national costume featuring a voluminous coral-pink gown composed of layered petals with scalloped edges, giving the illusion of a flower in full bloom. Katrina dazzled in the evening gown competition wearing a custom Rian Fernandez creation featuring sheer long sleeves embellished with shimmering beadwork.
During the final question and answer, Katrina was asked a moment she "stopped trying to become the woman the world expected and started becoming woman you’re really meant to be." “I always believe that we should never fit into a mold. We are perfectly imperfect. I am someone who struggles [with] perfection, but I’m here today doing my best and becoming the best version of myself. And here in Miss Supranational, I know [there is] a place for me, and this is becoming Supra—above and beyond,” she answered.
