MANILA, Philippines, July 10 ------ Fans got their first look at Kathryn Bernardo's Madame Tussauds Hong Kong wax figure during its official unveiling at the Glorietta Activity Center. The figure, dressed in the same white gown the actress wore to the 2023 Seoul International Drama Awards, will be exhibited at the museum beginning July 17, making Bernardo the latest Filipino to be immortalized by the world-renowned attraction.
During the unveiling, Bernardo said she hopes overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) visiting Madame Tussauds Hong Kong will feel inspired and find comfort in seeing a fellow Filipino recognized among global personalities.
Bernardo's wax figure was first announced in October 2025 after Madame Tussauds revealed that the actress would be joining its roster of internationally recognized personalities.
She is the latest Filipino to receive the distinction, following boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, Tony Award-winning singer-actress Lea Salonga, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, actress and television host Anne Curtis, and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
