Julie Anne San Jose on producing own music: ‘It feels liberating and exciting’

November 21 ------ Julie Anne San Jose has released her new single, “Simula,” which marked her latest step into music production. According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” the Asia’s Limitless Star is currently in her music producer era, taking a more hands-on role in developing her sound.

“It feels liberating and exciting at the same time kasi I have control over everything when it comes to my music. Tsaka mero’n akong creative freedom,” Julie said.

Following the release of “Simula,” the Sparkle star landed top spots in iTunes Philippines. She became the top-searched artist, her previous albums made it to the Top 4 spots, and she had three entries on the Top Songs list with “Simula” at the Top 20.

Julie wrote and composed “Simula” two years ago. In October, the Sparkle star teased fans that she is working on some new music. Julie is among the judges of “The Voice Kids” alongside Billy Crawford, Zack Tabudlo, and Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin of Ben&Ben.
