John Regala rushed back to hospital for urgent care

August 6 ------ When news broke out that former action star and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano guest actor John Regala was seen asking help from strangers in Pasay city, his friends from the industry rallied together to help raise funds for his medical condition which he revealed to be liver cirrhosis.

Last week, Film Development Council of the Philippines head Liza Diño-Seguerra shared an update on the actor’s condition after he was brought to the hospital. John later made a statement that he refused to be admitted for fear that he contract the COVID-19 virus while getting treatment in the hospital.

Last August 5, Nadia Montenegro, one of John’s friends and biggest supporters, shared the most recent update on the actor who had to be brought back to the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) for confinement and emergency care. The actress also shared the link for those who want to extend support for John’s medical care in her post.
