Jo Berry featured in Vogue Philippines

March 9 ------ Jo Berry is the latest Kapuso star to be featured in Vogue Philippines. The actress donned a brown Vania Romoff gown with puff sleeves. She also posed with pieces from Whisenhunt Fine Jewelry and AC+632. 

In her interview for the March issue, Jo opened up about her early family life, losing her father, brother, and grandfather, and the name she is making for herself in the showbiz industry. She also talked about how her characters are strong women, and are not defined by being a little person. “I’m happy that now, my character sketches aren’t defined by my size. Being a little person is not the main point of Lilet Matias’ story. It’s just a part of who she is and it’s not a hindrance to becoming who she wants to be,” she said. 

Jo added that she saw changes in how the public views little people or those with dwarfism through the years. “When other little people tell me that they’re now treated better because of my work on screen, it fuels my passion,” she said. Jo is best known for starring in “Lilet Matias: Attorney at Law,” and “Onanay.”
