MANILA, May 20 ------ Jillian Pamat of Team Bamboo is the winner of “The Voice Teens Philippines” season 3.
Pamat got 53.09 percent of the public votes, as revealed during the finale that aired on Sunday. She faced tough competition from Steph Lacuata of Marteam, mentored by Martin Nievera, and Yen Victoria of Team Supreme, under the guidance of KZ Tandingan. But she captivated the audience with her rendition of the song "Tag-ulan" by After Image, securing her the win. "Hindi ko po ito ine-expect," Pamat said after her win, which earned her a prize of P1-million. "Itutulong ko po ito sa pamilya ko kasi nakikitira lang po kami. Baka po hanap kami ng bagong matitirahan namin, 'yung stable po," Pamat said of her plans for her cash prize.
Steph and Yen garnered 24.99% and 21.91% of the public's votes, respectively. Pamat is the third artist under Bamboo’s leadership to win the competition. "I'm always going to be with her, and it extends to every Kamp Kawayan artist I've worked with. From Mike Perez in Season 1 to JK (Labajo), it's been quite a journey. Tonight is about her (Jillian). I may walk away, but for her, it's just the beginning," Bamboo said.
