Jhong Hilario, Vhong Navarro are new hosts of ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar PH’

September 12 ------ Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro will take charge as the hosts of the upcoming season of “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” set to premiere in October. Hilario and Navarro were announced as the hosts of the reality competition on the show’s social media platforms. The clip began with the show’s earlier seasons before shifting to them impersonating Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga à la “Die with a Smile,” respectively.

“KaFamiliars! Ka-Face na, Ka-Sound pa! Magbabalik na ang reality show na nag-transform sa weekend viewing ng mga Pinoy! Hosted by the Philippine King of the Dancefloor #VhongNavarro and The Sample King #JhongHilario!” the post read. “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” based on the Spanish TV show of the same name, premiered in 2015. The show’s previous hosts included Billy Crawford, Melai Cantiveros, and Luis Manzano.

In the show’s format, eight contestants compete in a number based on their assigned celebrities and song via an “iconizer.” Two mentors will then help the contestants sharpen their vocal and dance abilities to boost their performances. Melai Cantiveros, Denise Laurel, and Klarisse de Guzman were winners of its past seasons.
