Jessica Sanchez sets 1st solo Manila show in 7 years

MANILA, Philippines, February 5 ------ Homecoming shows can't get any more golden than this. Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez will hold a headline concert tour, which will begin in Manila.

The Philippine leg of the artist's upcoming tour is set for Saturday, May 16, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Jessica participated in the year-end concert of a premier integrated resort in Pasay last year, but she hasn't done solo shows in the country since November 2019.

Tickets to Jessica's concert helmed by Wilbros Live will be available beginning February 15, Sunday, at noon via the TicketNet website and outlets. The artist rose to fame as a contestant on the first season of "America's Got Talent" as a 10-year-old, just missing the cut for the grand finals. She returned two decades later for the show's 20th season, winning the competition within weeks of giving birth to her first child with husband Rickie Gallardo.

In between stints, Jessica joined the 11th season of "American Idol," where she finished as the runner-up, leading to a recording career.
