Janella Salvador, Gian Magdangal guest vocalists at ‘Moana’ live-to-film concert

August 22 ------ Janella Salvador and Gian Magdangal will be featured as guest vocalists in the upcoming “Moana” live-to-film concert with the Filharmonika Orchestra. Salvador and Magdangal will respectively be the vocalists for Moana and demigod Maui, as announced by Film Concerts Philippines.

“Set sail beyond the reef and experience Disney’s beloved animated adventure, featuring its acclaimed score and Grammy-winning soundtrack performed live by the 78-member Filharmonika Orchestra under the baton of Gerard Salonga, alongside the full-length movie on the big screen,” it said, teasing performances of “How Far I’ll Go,” “You’re Welcome” and “We Know the Way.”

The live-to-film concert will be held on Oct. 3 and 4 at Solaire.

In 2016, Salvador was chosen to sing the theme song of Disney’s “Moana,” “How Far I’ll Go,” for the animated film’s Philippine release.
