Isabelle Daza launches kid-friendly videos about COVID-19

April 21 ------ Actress Isabelle Daza is helping other mommies explain to their kids the pandemic in simple terms with her animated children’s story videos. On Instagram, she uploaded a four-minute clip with two versions, one in Filipino and the other in English, both voice-over done by Isabelle, herself. “So I created a story to help explain to my son what is going on with the current covid-19 pandemic. This is what I call an animated book,” she wrote as caption. She mentioneded and thanked the people behind the animation, drawings, sound design, and facts, as well as, for the Tagalog translation. The story in the video revolves around four kinds of animals — tiger, giraffe, fox, and elephant, all friends that love to play with each other. The youngsters routine every day is going to school together where they do art activities, eat snacks, sing a lot of songs, and play fun games. After school, they go home to take a nap and in the afternoon they meet at the park to play. However, one day the four animals hear an announcement, wherein the parents tell them that they can’t go to school anymore because they’ve been put under lockdown at home. “Mama Tiger and Papa Tiger explained that there’s something unsafe outside called the coronavirus, you become sick with fever, cough, or sore throat. If passed through drooplets in saliva — like when you cough and don’t cover your mouth. So we must stay indoors and away from our friends, family members to help stop the virus from spreading, ” said the narrator. It was explained that staying in their houses is called “home quarantine” and the parents explained to their kid that everyone should follow the rules so they can do their part in stopping the “bad virus” from spreading. The story was capped off with Isabelle’s son, Baltie, saying “stay safe everyone.” The video was immediately received warmly, and others have left positive remarks, mostly praising the 32-year-old celebrity for her initiative.
