'Home Along Da Riles' returning in 2026?

MANILA, January 5 ------ Is the popular '90s sitcom "Home Along Da Riles" making a return this year? Last December 28, actor-director Boy 2 Quizon uploaded on social media what seems to be a teaser of the upcoming "Home Along Da Riles Da Reunion" movie.

The teaser opens with the iconic house of the Cosme family along the riles (railroad). It also shows photos of the Cosme family headed by Kevin Cosme, portrayed by the late King of Comedy Dolphy Quizon. The next scene shows screen veteran Nova Villa, who played Azon in the hit show, holding what seems to be a letter.

Before the preview concluded, the project's title appeared, followed by Quizon's name as the film's director. "The legacy continues in 2026," the teaser concludes. "Home Along Da Riles," which debuted in 1992, reigned as the number one program on primetime TV for 17 years. In December 2024, the remaining cast members of "Home Along Da Riles teased the return of "Home Along Da Riles" in 2025.
