GMA Network, Kapuso stars win at 6th VP Choice Awards

June 2 ------ GMA Network and some Kapuso stars took home several awards in various categories at the 6th Village People Choice Awards. GMA Network once again won TV Station of the Year at the awards ceremony. 

Meanwhile, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera was Hailed Headliner of the Year in Entertainment - Movie.  Sparkle stars Kyline Alcantara and Michael Sager won TV Actress of the Year (Daytime) and TV Actor of the Year (Daytime) respectively for their performance in "Shining Inheritance."  Kokoy De Santos, for his part, bagged the Supporting Movie Actor of the Year award for his Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 movie "And the Breadwinner Is..." Lastly, Analyn Barro was hailed Breakthrough Star of the Year for "Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law."

VP Choice Awards is an annual awarding event organized by Village Pipol magazine. The winners are determined through the combined tally of online votes and scores from industry experts.
