Gloria Diaz joins international judging panel for Miss Grand International All-Stars

MANILA, Philippines, November 3 ------ Gloria Diaz, the Philippines' first Miss Universe winner in 1969, is taking on a new role in the international pageant scene as one of the judges for the upcoming Miss Grand International All-Stars competition.
The veteran actress and beauty queen will serve on the selection committee for the pageant's second edition, joining international personalities Omar Harfoutch, Osmel Sousa, Lu Sierra, Psi Samut Scott and Shyare Andrade.
Diaz's appointment brings decades of experience in the beauty pageant industry to the judging panel. Her historic Miss Universe victory in 1969 marked the Philippines' first win in the international competition and helped establish her place in the country's pageant history.
Meanwhile, the Philippines will also have several representatives competing in the All-Stars edition. Among those announced are Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee, Alexie Brooks, Maureen Montagne and Anna Patricia Lorenzo.
Miss Grand International All-Stars is a separate international beauty competition organized by the Miss Grand International (MGI) organization. Unlike the traditional Miss Grand International pageant, which selects new national representatives, the All-Stars edition gives former international pageant contestants another opportunity to compete for a crown.
The competition brings together former titleholders, finalists, fan favorites, and other pageant veterans from different international pageants. It is open to women and transgender women aged 20 to 40, regardless of marital status or whether they have children.
