Gawad Urian Awards 2025: Lovi Poe, Dennis Trillo, Carlo Aquino lead nominees

September 5 ------ The performances of Lovi Poe, Dennis Trillo, and Carlo Aquino in “Guilty Pleasure,” “Green Bones, and “Crosspoint,” respectively, earned the approval of the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino, as they were among the nominees of the 2025 Gawad Urian Awards.

The 48th edition of the Gawad Urian continues to honor the gripping performances of actors and the craftsmanship of creatives behind the scenes. “Tumandok” earned the most nominations with 11 nods, followed by “Kono Basho” with nine, and “Green Bones” with seven. Meanwhile, Dante Rivero will be awarded with the Natatanging Gawad Urian plum.
