Fuel price rollback seen this week

Metro Manila, March 20 ------ A rollback on diesel and gasoline prices will take effect on March 21, an oil firm said.

In an advisory, UniOil forecast that diesel prices would go down by P1.70 to P1.80 per liter while gasoline prices would drop by P1.10 to P1.30 per liter. A mixed price adjustment took effect earlier this week. The per liter price of gasoline went up by P1.00 while diesel and kerosene prices fell by P0.10/L and P0.60/L, respectively.

In 2023, the per liter price of gasoline has gone up by P6.70 per liter, while price drops of P1.00 and P1.65 were seen for diesel and kerosene, according to the Department of Energy's price monitor.
